Experiential learning works. Unique experiential exercises sometimes incorporate the strategies that artists use, seeing things from different perspectives, building on each others’ ideas, and taking some meaningful risks. Integrative Thinking - Why Does It Matter?

Experience-based programs allow us to break away from linear thinking to a more integrated, left-brain, right-brain thought process as we step into our creative flow. 

Integrative thinking combines critical thinking with creative thinking, and allows us to merge multiple perspectives. It requires people to break out of their areas of expertise – marketing, finance, HR, whatever it is – and collaborate across disciplines with people who may speak a different kind of language and operate from a different kind of culture.
